Cast Into The Outer Darkness

After a Saturday spent trawling through art listings it suddenly hit me: the word 'showcasing' must be extirpated forthwith from all artistic discourse. It is a blot, a blight, a canker, a noisome blast of critical halitosis. OK, I may have used it at one time myself - I blame peer pressure - but no more. It has been banished sine die, put to the horn and cast into the outer darkness.
