About

The Henderson Gallery was founded in August 2008 in specially converted former offices in the heart of Edinburgh's Georgian New Town. The Gallery is committed to presenting a diverse and challenging programme of exhibitions, talks, book launches and other events. While actively engaging with the possibilities of film, electronic media and the applied arts, the Gallery's main interests lie in the promotion of emerging and established fine art talent both at home and abroad. The Henderson Gallery offers consultations to both personal and corporate clients.
THE HENDERSON GALLERY TEAM
Gallery Director - Peter Warburton
Peter moved to Edinburgh from Sheffield in 2004, and has been involved in The Henderson Gallery since its inception. Today Peter occupies the role of Gallery Director while maintaining a studio of his own on nearby Queen Street.

Press Co-ordinator and Curator - Gregor Sloss
Born in Dundee in 1965, Gregor enjoyed a variety of careers including karaoke presenter, barman and rubbish collector before joining the Henderson Gallery as press co-ordinator from cult lifestyle magazine Shavers Weekly. He has since overseen the production of two major catalogues.

Gallery Curator - Christina Alepi
Award winning editor and BAFTA nominated filmmaker Christina Alepi joined the Gallery Team in 2009 and has worked tirelessly in a variety of roles. She divides her time between Edinburgh and Athens, where she is working on an exciting film project.

Gallery Advisor - Juliet Henderson
Juliet has degrees in both Theology and Law, but decided that art is the true religion and that the only law that matters is the law of perspective. When not looking after her two children or pursuing her interests in restaurant redecoration she works as Gallery Advisor keeping the otherwise erratic Gallery Team in line.
Gallery Assistant - Mairi Cunningham
Mairi became the newest member of the Gallery Team in Spring 2009 and soon proved herself invaluable. Mairi is currently on a sabbatical in Paris studying both the French language and Parisian art scene.
